Jeannie Mai shares message about taking time 'to heal' amid Jeezy divorce
Jeezy filed for divorce from the former co-host of "The Real" last month.
Jeannie Mai is taking some time for herself amid her divorce from Jeezy.
The former co-host of "The Real" took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared a photo of an open notebook and pen with a message written on the page.
"Sometimes, you need to take a break and disconnect, to heal," the note read.
Mai's post comes one month after Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, filed for divorce from her after two years of marriage.
In the court filing, the rapper stated that "the marriage is irretrievably broken" and "there is no hope for reconciliation."
The couple, who married in March 2021, both had a prenup in place.
Also in the court filing, Jeezy stated that he "desires" that he and Mai will "share joint legal custody" of their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins, who was born in January 2022, on a "temporary and permanent basis."
