Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson enjoy rare public date night

Kardashian recently told ABC News she was "very happy" with Davidson.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson stepped out for a rare public date night over the weekend.

The couple attended the 2022 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor ceremony at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. Former "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart was honored at the event.

Kardashian, 41, and Davidson, 28, were photographed sitting together in the audience and the "Saturday Night Live" comedian serving as one of the night's guest speakers.

The SKIMS founder and reality star recently opened up to ABC News about her new relationship, saying she was "very happy and very content" with Davidson.

"I mean, I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure," she said when asked of the seriousness of their romance. "And I wouldn't be with someone if I didn't plan on spending a lot of my time with them."

"Obviously I wanna take my time," Kardashian continued, "but I'm very happy and very content and it's such a good feeling just to be at peace."

Kardashian filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West in February 2021. The former couple, who were married in May 2014, share four children together: North, 8; Saint, 6; Chicago, 4; and Psalm, 2.

"The Kardashians" is currently streaming on Hulu.
