Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens enjoy married life following destination wedding

Simone Biles is having a "married girl summer."

Two weeks after her destination wedding celebration with friends and family, the Olympic gold medalist and her husband Jonathan Owens are enjoying life as husband and wife.

Over the weekend, Biles shared a photo of her and Owens in matching Fendi swimsuits.

"married girl summer 🤎," she captioned the shot.

Owens commented on the photo, "Love it," adding a lock emoji and a smirking face emoji.

The couple officially tied the knot a month ago in a courthouse ceremony at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston. In Instagram story posts she shared after the ceremony, Biles dished about those intimate courthouse wedding details as well as the bigger destination wedding that she and Owens were planning at the time.

"We are so lucky and blessed," she wrote.

Biles and Owens kept their followers in the loop in the lead-up to their big day. In February, Biles shared photos from her bachelorette party in Belize, and in April, she shared a photo of her and Owens obtaining their marriage license.
