Fall produce guide: What's in season this month

Fall in love with what's in season through early December.

With the cool, crisp weather of fall comes a whole new offering of delicious, fresh produce in peak season.

From leafy greens to root vegetables, fall produce is ideal raw or roasted, enjoyed as soups and stews or pureed and baked into the perfect quick bread.

However it's prepared, the first thing to understand is when each of these delicious fall offerings are in peak season.

What produce is in season during fall?

As always due to growing conditions, check with local farmers and grocers to ask if any produce in your area is expected to be on farm stands or grocery shelves earlier or later than expected.
