Experts weigh in on the biggest takeaway trends from New York Fashion Week

Here are the four trends that you can take from NYFW, even if you didn't attend.

With more than 300 fashion shows and presentations during New York Fashion Week, there is a lot to take in.

"This NYFW felt like a 'choose your own adventure' season," Eva Chen head of fashion at Instagram, shared with "Good Morning America."

"We saw everything from comfort-core to cosmic cool to urban chic," Chen continued. "I'm personally so inspired by new-gen voices that come from all corners of the industry and share their style preferences."

Fashion enthusiast and content creator Caroline Vazzana, who was also in attendance at NYFW, added that this fashion week felt like a movement where everyone is finally ready to "get back out into the world" in a big bold way. Vazzana added, "Maximalism is back and here to stay!"

"I saw a ton of sparkle and embellishments on the runway," Vazzana said. "Especially during two emerging designers shows that I loved -- Colin LoCascio and Dauphinette."

Both industry experts shared a few trends they feel are worth watching below. If you want to bring the runway to your every day look, scroll on to shop.
