These Philadelphia nurses are truly "leveling up" on their sweet moves in a now-viral response to the dance challenge featuring Ciara's hit song, "Level Up."
The nurses, who call themselves "The Original Swab Squad" on Instagram, are based out of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
"Friendly disclaimer -- we waste no PPE. We take our jobs, our patients, and the resources we use seriously. However, we also take our team morale and mental health just as serious," the dance squad wrote on Instagram.
Since posting the video on Instagram on April 5, the video has already garnered almost 70,000 views. Ciara deemed the nurses the "Level Up Champs" on "Good Morning America."
"[Their dance] is very meaningful in a time like this. I look at that moment that they were having as an opportunity for them to still put joy in the world in the midst of a storm," Ciara told Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America" in an April 9 interview for ABC's "Day of Hope."
"I have to post and show them love because we really are grateful for the doctors and the nurses of the world because they are making big sacrifices right now," the singer added.
The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital dancing nurses are covering COVID-19 patients, they told "GMA," and are keeping their spirits up with dancing and remembering the importance of putting a smile on someone's face.
