With the premiere of the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" just days away, we asked some of the stars of the hit HBO show to share the advice they would give to their characters all the way back in season 1.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, told "Good Morning America" all she had to tell her first-season self was, "Oh, she's so adorable," adding, " I peaked at 14."

Many of the other stars had similar quips, reflecting back on how they have changed over the course of almost a decade that the show has been on the air.

"It's like ten pounds ago," Pilou Asbaek, who plays Euron Greyjoy, said of his character, adding that he was "still a baby."

Just strive to be yourself throughout all of this.

Maisie Williams said she would tell her character Arya Stark to "stay strong" and "be a good little girl, Mommy loves you."

Sophie Turner added that she would probably say something similar, that "things are going to get really tough for you," but "Mommy loves you."

"Stop looking at the world through rose-tinted glasses," she added of what she would tell her character. "And just strive to be yourself throughout all of this."
