Brie and Nikki Bella ask for prayers as their mom has brain surgery
"I know all her angels will be with her," Brie Bella wrote.
"Total Bellas" stars Nikki and Brie Bella are asking their fans to pray for their mother, Kathy Laurinaitis, as she has brain surgery Tuesday.
Brie Bella explained in an Instagram caption that doctors originally believed Laurinaitis had a condition called Bell's palsy, a form of facial paralysis, only to learn later that she had "a mass on her brain stem."
"Couldn’t sleep because I was praying all night. She’s a strong one and I know all her angels will be with her," she wrote. "#BellaArmy send Mama Bella all the prayers and love today."
"Our Mama Bella, our Gigi, our Gato is about to head into brain surgery. I ask for so many prayers, so much light and love sent her way," added Nikki Bella. "I have faith that the amazing doctors will do an incredible job and our Gigi will be on the road to recovery starting late today."
Laurinaitis has appeared on several episodes of "Total Bellas," alongside her daughters. This is a big summer for the family, as both Nikki and Brie Bella, 36, are expecting babies.
Nikki Bella is expecting a baby boy with her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, while Brie Bella and her husband, WWE star Daniel Bryan, are expecting their second child around the same time.
"Just pray that her road to recovery is exactly what we are hoping for so we can put two new grand babies in her arms soon," Nikki Bella wrote Tuesday. "Love you SOOO much Mom! You have a big Bella Army out here praying for you!!"
