Kerry Washington wishes 'Scandal' co-star Tony Goldwyn a happy birthday
The duo lit up TV screens for the ABC series' seven-season run.
Kerry Washington had "Scandal" fans' hearts racing with her recent Instagram posts.
The Emmy-winning actress took to social media on Saturday to share a series of selfies with her former "Scandal" co-star -- and TV lover -- Tony Goldwyn, to celebrate him on his birthday.
"I told @tonygoldwyn that #Olitz is trending on TikTok for his birthday. He's clearly VERY excited," she wrote in the caption. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONY!!!! Love you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much! XOXOXOXOXO #ScandalFam."
The slideshow of selfies Washington shared get progressively more silly, with the first featuring her and Goldwyn smiling for the camera and the third and final snap showing him putting his finger in her nose.
Washington also shared a video with Goldwyn in which she tells him, "Hi Tony. You look great." He replies, "Hi Kerry. You look so beautiful."
Fans took to the comments of Washington's post to share steamy GIFs of her and Goldwyn's characters, who had an on-off romance on the Shonda Rhimes-created ABC series.
The pair starred on "Scandal" for its seven-season run between 2012 and 2018, with Washington playing White House "fixer" Olivia "Liv" Pope and Goldwyn playing President Fitzgerald "Fitz" Thomas Grant III.
