Noel Gallagher shares unreleased Oasis demo; Liam Gallagher responds
The song stirred up drama between the Gallagher brothers.
The Gallagher brothers are at it again -- but at least there's actual music involved this time.
This week, Noel Gallagher announced he had unearthed a demo of a previously unreleased song titled "Don't Stop..." from Oasis, featuring him solo.
"Like the rest of the world I've had infinite time to kill lately so I thought I'd FINALLY look and find out what was actually on the HUNDREDS of faceless unmarked cd's I've got lying around in boxes at home," he tweeted. "As fate would have it I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost forever."
The release of the recording, of course, drew a reaction from the 52-year-old's estranged brother and former Oasis bandmate, Liam Gallagher, who is not featured on the demo.
"Well there’s something missing in this god almighty stew and it’s your brother your brother don’t forget your brother," he tweeted.
Veering from his usual insult of choice -- that would be "potato" -- the 47-year-old called his brother "tofu boy" and declared that any old Oasis demos that don't feature him on vocals or Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs on guitar are "not worth a wank."
If you're uninterested in the drama and just want to hear the music, you can download "Don't Stop..." now via digital outlets.
