Salma Hayek Pinault, Annie Murphy, Kate Mara and more to star in 'Black Mirror' season 6
The upcoming season will have dial-up internet and cheerleaders out for revenge.
The official teaser for the sixth season of "Black Mirror" is here.
The teaser features a collection of snippets from the forthcoming season of the dystopian series… and it's grim.
There's a dust-up at a clothing store that sees a woman bashing another's head through a display case, a house fire, sleazy paparazzi and dial-up internet access.
Season 6 will feature big name stars such as Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy, Salma Hayek Pinault, Ben Barnes, Danny Ramirez and Himesh Patel. Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin and Zazie Beetz will also star in the hit show.
"I've always felt that 'Black Mirror' should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people -- and myself -- or else what's the point?" executive producer Charlie Brooker told Netflix's news blog Tudum. "It should be a series that can't be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself."
"The stories are all still tonally 'Black Mirror' through-and-through -- but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before," he added. "I can't wait for people to binge their way through it all and hope they enjoy it -- especially the bits they shouldn't."
"Black Mirror" season 6 will begin streaming on Netflix in June.
