Suge Knight Rushed to the Hospital After His Arraignment
The former rap mogul pleaded not guilty to murder charges just before.
— -- Suge Knight was transported to a local hospital immediately following his arraignment today, ABC station KABC has confirmed.
It was not immediately clear what Knight's medical condition is.
Knight, 49, was arraigned this morning on charges including murder, stemming from a fatal-hit-and-run in Compton last week. He pleaded not guilty.
The former rap mogul, 49, was involved in an altercation last week outside of a restaurant, after which he allegedly ran over two men in the parking lot. One man was injured and the second, Terry Carter, 55, died. As a result, Knight was charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, two counts of hit-and-run with an allegation that he committed a serious and violent felony while out on bail in another pending case.
Though his bail was originally set at more than $2 million, it was later revoked due to his past criminal record. If convicted in this case, he could face life in prison.
The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
