Sneak peek at Wolfgang Puck, Ghetto Gastro menu for Governors Ball at the Oscars
Take an early peek at this year's menu.
For the 28th year, esteemed celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will serve up his amazing food at the post-Oscars Governors Ball. And this year he has enlisted a new co-star with Bronx-based culinary collective Ghetto Gastro, which collaborated to create the inventive, fresh menu.
"Good Morning America" got an exclusive first look at the culinary creations that range from tried and true guest favorites like the smoked salmon Oscars and Wagyu sliders to newcomers like cornbread with crab and caviar.
“At Ghetto Gastro, we have a saying, ‘We Only Layer Flavors’ (W.O.L.F.) -- so we feel it’s only right that we collaborate with the great Wolfgang Puck to create an Oscars Governors Ball unlike any before. Wolf Gang activity,” Jon Gray, co-founder of Ghetto Gastro said in a statement. Alongside Gray, Pierre Serrao and Lester Walker will complement Puck Catering's offerings with their own action station in addition to several passed menu items throughout the night.
Puck said the convergence of food, fashion, culture, cinema and music all collide at the Oscars Governors Ball and to celebrate, "we couldn’t think of a better partner than Ghetto Gastro."

The Governors Ball will feature a variety of beverages to complement the food, including the only Champagne house exclusively devoted to rosé Champagne -- Champagne Fleur de Miraval -- and two limited-edition Francis Ford Coppola Wines in honor of the 94th Oscars. Acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly will curate a selection of specialty cocktails made with Tequila Don Julio.
The Governors Ball is held on Sunday March 27 immediately following the Oscars broadcast at the Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of Hollywood & Highland.
