When it comes to Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, "more is more" usually is the go-to aesthetic.

At Givenchy, we saw models such as Kaia Gerber wear full-on bushels of mint green feathers while Gigi Hadid glided along Valentino's runway in an eclectic lavender gown topped with a huge bow.

Most of the shows included elements of surprise that are hard to unsee and caused lots of excitement.

Ahead, we have highlighted some of the most standout moments of the week that made us stop and do a double take.

Givenchy

Models were dressed in loads of exquisite feathers like nothing we've ever seen before.

Valentino

Artsy exaggerated frocks and swoon-worthy bright hues glazed the runways in high style.

Chanel

Houndstooth continued to reign supreme, but this time with sparkly embellishments and vibrant pops of color.

Dior

In addition to lots of sexy see-through black dresses, there was also a surprising pop of a fresh white graphic dress that included the question "are clothes modern?"

Jean Paul Gaultier

This season's lineup of looks include everything from furry high collar coats to neon touches stitched into structured little black dresses.
