'The Bachelorette' Andi Dorfman Wore a Homemade, $15 Dress to the 'Bachelor' Premiere
The "Bachelorette" star said it cost just $15.
— -- Andi Dorfman has always been someone to go after what she wants -- so when she couldn't find a red carpet dress she liked in a store, she took matters into her own hands.
The former "Bachelorette" star said that the olive green gown she wore to Monday night's "Bachelorette" premiere was a Dorfman original.
"I sewed it on the plane, so don’t look too closely at the hemline -- seriously don’t," she told People. "The shoes are Jimmy Choo, so I feel like that makes up for it. The clutch is Jimmy Choo, the shoes are Jimmy Choo, and the dress was like $15 of fabric."
Dorfman, who worked as a lawyer in Atlanta before going on the ABC reality show, now has her own fashion line with Southward Apparel. However, it remains to be seen whether the burgeoning designer, who got engaged to Josh Murray last year, will also be designing her wedding gown, or when and where the nuptials will take place.
"It's time to take a little break and make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there,” she told the magazine. "[But] I would definitely have some of the girls from my season in my wedding, at my wedding. There's definitely some girls that I’ve kept in good contact with -- they're some of my best friends.”
