Celebs React to News of Kim Kardashian West Robbery
Stars expressed shock, sympathy and outrage over news of the crime.
— -- Kim Kardashian West has received an outpouring of support from her fellow celebrities after being robbed at gunpoint in a Paris mansion early Monday morning.
Since news of the robbery broke, stars have taken to Twitter to express their shock, sympathy and outrage over the crime.
Kardashian West was "badly shaken but physically unharmed," her spokesperson told ABC News. In the brazen crime, two individuals dressed as police officers forced their way into her mansion overnight and later ran off with about $10 million worth of jewelry.
Kardashian West, the mother of two with husband Kanye West, was in the city for Paris' fashion week.
As some stars expressed sympathy over what happened, others took to defending the reality star against people trying to make light of her situation.
Kardashian West's longtime friend Chrissy Teigen was especially vocal on Twitter, reminding her followers that "some s*** just isn't funny. I see you trying, but it isn't."
Teigen then responded to a follower who wrote, "No one likes robbery at gunpoint. Then again should people feel sorry for someone who owns millions of $ in jewelry alone?"
