While "Goodnight Moon" and "Pat the Bunny" are bedtime story staples, there's a new children's book that would make Mother Goose blush, but its generating enormous buzz among sleep-deprived parents.

"Go the F--- to Sleep," written by novelist Adam Mansbach, is a book done in the style of a toddler's bedtime story, but it is aimed at their exhausted parents who have suffered through sleepless nights with cranky little ones.

As sweet-sounding verse and charming pastel illustrations are intertwined with profanity, the author makes it clear that this book is not meant for children -- it even has a disclaimer on the back cover saying this.

Here is a sample verse:

"The cats nestle close to their kittens. The lambs have laid down with the sheep. You're cozy and warm in your bed, my dear. Please go the f--- to sleep."

"Go the F--- to Sleep" has already garnered incredible fame. Barely a month after it was sent to print in April, Mommy and parenting bloggers exploding with comments about it. The book also shot up to the top spot of Amazon's bestseller list -- several weeks before it's June 14 publication date.
