— -- Here's the ultimate Throwback Thursday for gamers:

More than 2,000 MS-DOS games (that's dating back to the days of floppy disks) are now available for free online at the Internet Archive.

Among the classic titles offered are the Oregon Trail, Zelda Classic, Price of Persia and Street Fighter.

While you probably don't have that big bulky computer you used to enjoy the games on, it's still possible to enjoy the old-school MS-DOS experience through a browser emulator.

There may be a wealth of games available, but the website's creators say the experience is still in beta. It's also worth noting that several of the games we tried don't come with instructions and don't allow players to save their progress.

However, chances are you'll be on such a nostalgia trip that it won't even matter.
