Aaron Rodgers opens up about his split from Olivia Munn
The NFL quarterback hints at what may have been behind their reported breakup.
— -- Aaron Rodgers has hinted at what may have been behind his reported breakup with Olivia Munn.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback and "X-Men: Apocalypse" star dated for three years before reports surfaced in April that they split. Though neither has commented on the reported breakup, Rodgers admitted in a new interview with ESPN the Magazine that the public scrutiny of their relationship made it more difficult.
"When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it's definitely ... it's difficult," he said. "It has some extra constraints, because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections."
Munn, 37, and Rodgers, 33, began dating in 2014 and even adopted a puppy named Chance together.
The actress told Good Housekeeping in 2015 that Rodgers and Chance became her family.
"Chance made us a family ... he and Aaron have changed my life in every way," she said. "My world has become so much brighter, sweeter and lovelier. I feel grounded with them in my life."
