Candace Cameron Bure Announces She's Leaving 'The View'
The actress and host explained why.
— -- It was a morning touched with a bit of sadness and gratitude, as Candace Cameron Bure announced she's leaving "The View."
The audience voiced their grief over the departure of the beloved "Full House" star.
"Thank you," she said, before breaking down a bit. "It wasn't an easy decision, but before I started 'The View,' I already had my commitments to 'Fuller House' and my work with the Hallmark Channel."
The 40-year-old added that due to the success of her Netflix spin-off show and work on other networks, she has to now leave the show and the co-hosts she thanked for "welcoming me."
"I want to make sure I'm able to spend as much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent," she said. “It’s been really wonderful, and I’m grateful.”
The panel added that they will miss her as well.
Bure joined "The View" in September 2015.
