'Girls' Star Allison Williams Marries Ricky Van Veen in Secret Ceremony
Actress Allison Williams wed her longtime boyfriend in Wyoming over the weekend.
— -- Allison Williams has tied the knot.
The “Girls” star married entrepreneur Ricky Van Veen on Saturday in a private ceremony at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, People reported.
Van Veen is the co-founder of CollegeHumor, and the couple has been together since 2011 after meeting through mutual friends, according to People.
Williams’ top-secret wedding was filled with famous faces, including “Girls” co-stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet. Other guests in attendance included Katy Perry, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, Diane von Furstenberg and Seth Meyers.
Actor Tom Hanks officiated the nuptials while his wife Rita Wilson, who plays Williams’ mother on “Girls,” watched from the audience.
Williams, 27, and Van Veen, 34, announced their engagement in February 2014, but delayed the wedding after the actress’ father, Brian Williams, faced criticism and an investigation for embellishing stories on which he reported.
Williams posted her first wedding photo on Instagram on Sunday. In the photo, Williams, in a handmade couture Oscar de la Renta wedding gown, walks hand in hand with Van Veen as husband and wife.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
