"My six alpacas!" are what make the home extra-special, she said.

In the interview, the actress, 48, opened up about her life with her husband, Keith Urban, and their two daughters. The biggest surprise of her life, she said, was finding out she was pregnant, and she gushed that the best part of motherhood is, "everything: the love, the joy, the purpose."

"[The worst part is] knowing I won't be here forever, so I won't always be able to take care of them," she added.
