Jessica Simpson Is Married to Eric Johnson

The singer and her fiancé Eric Johnson tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California, they told People.

"We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment," the couple told People. "To say 'I do' in front of family, friends, and most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives."

Johnson, 34, and Simpson, 33, resplendent in a Carolina Herrera gown, said "I do" before more than 250 friends and relatives, including Ashlee Simpson and her fiancé Evan Ross, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, and CaCee Cobb and Donald Faison. The couple's daughter, Maxwell, 2, walked down the aisle with their nephew, Bronx, 5, while their son, Ace, 1, served as the ring bearer.

The newlyweds got engaged in 2010 after six months together. The next year, she announced that they were expecting their first child, Maxwell Drew, who was born in May, 2012. Just a few months later, Simpson was surprised to learn that she was expecting again, and in June, 2013, Ace Knute came along.

After two children, Simpson said this past January that "we need to get married," though she wasn't in a rush.

"If he wanted to run, he could have run when I was hormonal and pregnant," she said on "Good Morning America." "I already feel like we're like an old married couple already!"
