Joseph Gordon-Levitt Welcomes Baby Boy

— -- Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his wife Tasha McCauley have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

A rep for the "Snowden" star confirmed the birth to ABC News.

The actor, 34, and his bride, 34, tied the knot in a private ceremony at their home last December. Gordon-Levitt has been very private about his relationship and the pregnancy, only telling Howard Stern in 2013 that he was dating someone that he met through mutual friends. She is not in the entertainment industry.

US Weekly was the first to break the news, adding that the birth happened this past weekend.

McCauley's Twitter profile identifies her as "Business Director at GeoSim Systems. Co-founded Fellow Robots," a robotics company.
