Kanye West Apologizes to Beck
He had said Beck shouldn't have won Album of the Year at the Grammys.
— -- Kanye West is sorry, Beck.
West, 37, tweeted out an apology today, weeks after he slammed Beck's Album of the Year win at the Grammys.
After Beck, 44, beat out Beyoncé for Album of the Year, West took the stage before smiling, shaking his head and descending as the crowd roared with laughter. He said after the show that Beyoncé should have won Album of the Year.
The moment drew parallels to West's actions in 2009, when he famously interrupted Taylor Swift as she accepted the Best Female Video award, telling her, "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time."
Last week, West told Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" he meant to call Beck but kept forgetting.
West also tweeted an apology to Bruno Mars, whom he says he has hated on.
