— -- Kelly Clarkson has always taken her career very seriously.

However, since getting married and having a baby, her perspective has changed.

"I still am very invested in my career, but it’s more all for fun now," she told ABC News. "It’s not just all I am."

Clarkson, 32, married Brandon Blackstock, who has two children from a previous marriage, in 2013. Last year, the two welcomed their first child together, daughter River Rose.

"I just didn’t realize how intense everything was, until falling in love and having a family," she explained. " "I'm at equestrian events now with our 13-year-old, and I’m doing homework with my 8-year-old, and I have a baby. So everything’s different."

Still, singing hasn't completely fallen by the wayside: Clarkson will launch a tour in support of her new album "Piece By Piece" in July.
