Kristen Bell Shares Photos From Her 2013 Wedding for First Time

— -- Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had a simple, no-frills courthouse wedding in 2013, but it remains one of the highlights of Bell's life.

"We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse, and it was still one of the best days of my life," Bell told "CBS Sunday Morning" over the weekend.

Bell also shared photos for the first time from the couple's private nuptials.

In the photos, Shepard is wearing a black tuxedo with bow tie and Bell has on a simple black top and pants with a statement necklace.

Bell got emotional while talking about her actor husband and the father of their two young daughters.

"He's a wonderful father," she said, tearing up.

"He knows the value of things. He was an addict for many, many years and he pulled himself out of it, and he's been sober for 11 or 12 years now," Bell added. "And he knows how many times he's messed up and how many times he's been really closing to losing everything."

Bell also knows the value of family. The "Bad Moms" star, who has appeared with her husband in ads for Samsung Electronics and will star alongside him in a movie next year, doesn't take what she has for granted.

"I always think, if I'm on my deathbed, what am I gonna be thinking about? And it won't be some random movie I participated in, or some TV show. It will be my family," Bell said.
