May 9, 2014— -- Lily Allen was hospitalized Thursday after symptoms of nausea, dehydration and fever -- signs of possible food poisoning, according to the singer.

The British pop star had a busy week traveling from London to New York and back in just a couple of days, making appearances at Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz show in London, the Met Ball in New York, and most recently, the British comedy show “Chatty show” on Wednesday, when she first started tweeting about her queasiness.

Allen was soon put on an IV, unable to rehydrate since she couldn’t keep anything down, she said.

She remained in the hospital today undergoing testing to identify what caused her illness, according to the Guardian.
