Much has been said about Justin Bieber's arrest for allegedly drag racing and driving under the influence, but the question still remains: Where is his support system? While Bieber, 19, must be held responsible for what happened on Thursday, here's a look at a few people in Bieber's inner circle.

Bieber's manager, Braun helped launch the singer to superstardom. He also pushed the teen star to make his documentary, "Believe," in an attempt to clear up his image. "We realized we couldn't put out a fluff piece with everything that happened. You'll see in the film how we address it, because once it starts getting out of control, 90 percent of it isn't true," he said. "I think people forget that it's a 19-year-old kid, trying to figure it out."

Mallette is Bieber's mother and also, the person responsible for putting his first singing videos on YouTube. She's remained quiet since her son's arrest, but she's likely one of the people he'll turn to for support. Just six months ago, Bieber got an image of her eye tattooed on his arm.

Bieber's house is a crash pad for a number of his friends, but the most famous house guest recently has been rapper Lil' Za, whose real name is Xavier Smith. Though others have been labeled as Bieber's best friend (Lil' Twist comes to mind), Za has been a more prominent figure in Bieber's life in the past year or so. However, he made headlines himself when he was arrested for drug possession during a raid of Bieber's home.

After dating for more than two years on and off, Gomez and Bieber split at the end of 2012, but seemed back together at various points last year. And though the "Come & Get It" singer declared in July that she'd "always care" about her ex, she recently seemed more dismissive. "I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it and not be threatened," she said.

Rapper Khalil Amir Sharieff is perhaps most famous now for being the person who got arrested along with Bieber for allegedly drag racing and driving under the influence, but he's actually a musician too. Also friends with Bieber's pal Lil' Twist, he's also an aspiring filmmaker. "I'm not too much of a wild guy," he said in a documentary that he released about himself. "I'm all about work, I'm all about studio."

After photos emerged from just before Bieber's arrest, everyone was wondering who the woman sitting next to him in his Lamborghini was. The answer? Model Chantel Jeffries, a San Diego native who is now based in Miami. A self-described "student, model, eyebrow connoisseur, animal lover and deep thinker," Jeffries was previously linked to NFL star DeSean Jackson.

Butler is Bieber's childhood best friend, and someone who has stuck by the singer's side through thick and thin. After Bieber complained that his 19th birthday was the worst one yet (he was reportedly denied from a club), Butler stuck up for his pal on Twitter. "This is unbelievable. Can't even have fun on his birthday," he wrote. The loyalty is clearly mutual: Bieber recently referred to Butler as his "bro" and Tweeted a video that his pal created.
