Ariel Winter said it's always been a dream of hers to go to college.
— -- Ariel Winter is officially all grown up. The "Modern Family" actress announced where she's going to college.
Winter, 18, who portrays the witty middle sister on ABC's hit comedy "Modern Family," shared a photo on Instagram showing that she's decided to attend the University of California, Los Angeles.
"It's an AMAZING DAY! I'm going to UCLA - thank you to everyone who has been there for me on this journey! #bruinsbaby," she wrote as a caption.
Winter said despite her success as a child actress, attending college has always been a goal of hers.
"School was never really important when I was younger in my family," she told "Good Morning America" news anchor Amy Robach in an interview last month. "I mean, they never really pushed me to do anything other than entertainment. And while entertainment is great, I think education is incredibly important. It's always been a dream of mine to go to college."
The actress added that she'd "love to be a social justice lawyer."
