Olivia Palermo Married Johannes Huebl in Shorts and a Sweater

June 30, 2014 -- As was to be expected, Olivia Palermo had one stylish wedding.

But she hardly went the traditional route.

For her Saturday nuptials with model Johannes Huebl, Palermo pieced together three Carolina Herrera pieces to create the ultimate bridal ensemble: a cashmere sweater with ostrich feathers, white shorts and a full tulle skirt with a high slit and floral details. She accessorized with her "something blue": a pair of blue Manolo Blahniks. The rest of her look was much simpler.

"I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean," she said on her website. "My hair was in an uncontrived pony tail, one of my favorite personal looks.”

The couple of more than six years exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by just their closest family members and friends in a park in Bedford, New York.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends," Palermo, 28, said. "Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.”
