Martha Graham, "Satyric Festive Song," 1935. Today Google is celebrating what would have been American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham's 117th birthday. Many of the iconic images associated with Graham were taken by legendary photographer Barbara Morgan. Morgan approached Graham after a performance and the two women decided to collaborate. Morgan began photographing the dancer in 1935 and by 1941, the book "Martha Graham: Sixteen Dances in Photos" was born.
