Poppy Montgomery Is Pregnant; Expecting a Boy

— -- "Unforgettable" star Poppy Montgomery revealed on Wednesday night's "Late Show" that she is expecting her third child -- a baby boy.

Montgomery, 39, told David Letterman: "I'm expecting! I’m far down the road of expecting."

The Australian-American actress subsequently elaborated, saying, "Well, I'm six months pregnant, and I’ve been hiding it until this very moment. No, I've been filming my show, I’ve been doing all my stunts and running and leaping, but I haven’t told anybody because I didn't want them to treat me differently, but I do. I want people to give me their seats. I want them to open doors."

This will be Montgomery's second child with her husband, Microsoft executive Shawn Sanford. They also have a 14-month-old daughter, Violet.

Montgomery has a 6-year-old son, Jackson, from her previous relationship with actor Adam Kaufman. Sanford has two children from his previous marriage.

Regarding Jackson, the actress revealed to Letterman the boy underwent a last-minute name change at the suggestion of the kid's paternal grandfather, who told the then-in-labor Montgomery, "You can't call him Jack!" When she asked why, he suggested, "Say 'Jack Kaufman' three times fast!" Letterman said the grandfather "saved the kid's life."
