— -- Olivia Pope and her Gladiators are back!

The style-savvy squad from "Scandal" returns tonight on ABC at 9 p.m/8c with the political thriller's winter premiere.

The show's entire cast appeared live on "Good Morning America" today, and while the stars were understandably tight-lipped about upcoming plotlines, they did reveal a handful of secrets about the second half of Season 5.

1. Olivia Pope Dresses in Color:

Political fixer Pope, played by Kerry Washington, is known for her fondness of all-white ensembles. But this season, she emerges -- are you ready? -- in a red trench coat. And there are hints of more colorful fashions to come.

Washington revealed she was shocked when she saw the wardrobe changes in the script.

"One of the ways I’ve distinguished between Kerry and Olivia is I wear a lot of bright colors and she doesn’t, so it’s been confusing," Washington said. "But I feel like we’re finding our way."

2. The First Lady May Get Unlikely Help With Her Presidential Campaign:

Melody "Mellie" Grant, played by Bellamy Young, has set her sights on the Oval Office, and it may be Olivia Pope who helps her campaign.

When Young joked on "GMA" that her campaign didn't need help from President Fitz, played by Tony Goldwyn, Washington shot back, "She might get help other places. Who knows?"

3. MAJOR Changes for Abby Whelan:

White House Press Secretary Abby Whelan, played by Darby Stanchfield, will come "into a little bit of a different scene," the actress vaguely said on "GMA," adding "there is a major change. Capital M-A-J-O-R."

4. Huck Is 'Getting Stronger, Getting Better':

Huck, played by Guillermo Diaz, was last seen with Olivia Pope's father, Rowan, in his clutches, but the Gladiator refrained from torturing Papa Pope.

"I think that was a major step forward. I look at it, he's getting stronger," Diaz said. "He's getting better. Huck, I think, is trying to be that normal guy. He's trying really, really hard."

5. The New Gladiator Makes His Mark:

Former "All My Children" actor Cornelius Smith Jr. joined "Scandal" earlier in Season 5, but these new episodes will show him making his mark, according to Katie Lowes, who plays fellow Gladiator Quinn Perkins.

"I think you'll see a lot going forward about what it's like to have a new Gladiator in the office and how we all sort of deal with that energy," she said. "What responsibilities we give him, what we don’t give him and how he fits into the fold."
