October 25 -- Julia Roberts' million-dollar grin will light up Mona Lisa Smile, in which the toothy pretty woman will play a free-spirited graduate of Berkeley who goes to Wellesley in 1953 to teach. In other words, your classic West Coast-East Coast culture clash. The film, which is set up at Sony-based Revolution Studios, which released Roberts' last film, America's Sweethearts, will begin filming next spring in an unspecified East Coast city, according to Variety.Roberts next appears in two films for Steven Soderbergh, the already-wrapped Ocean's 11 and the still-in-progress The Art of Negotiating a Turn, as the once-titled project How to Survive a Hotel Room Fire is now being called.
