April 4 -- British pop singer Dido has a busy schedule ahead of her as she continues to promote her top-selling album No Angel. Somewhere between promotional stops and performing shows, she'll have to find the time to marry her fiancé, who inspired some of her music.

According to British tabloid The Sun, boyfriend Bob Page, a lawyer, proposed to the singer last month, and she immediately accepted.

"They're a great couple," a friend of Dido's told the paper. "Bob decided the time was right, and she jumped at the chance. She's a strong and independent woman, but this is the icing on the cake in what has been a great year."

The past 12 months have seen the singer's 1999 debut album, No Angel, rocket from relative obscurity to multiplatinum sales, thanks to a prominently mixed sample of her song "Thank You" on the Eminem hit "Stan."

The singer has said that she wrote "Thank You," as well as "Here With Me" and "I'm No Angel," the day after she met Page at a London nightclub. The couple now lives together in West London.

Dido, whose full name is Dido Armstrong, recently announced a headlining U.S. tour with Britpop act Travis. The tour kicks off June 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
