Robbie Williams Pushed Offstage in Germany
February 22 -- The ego landed hard last night, when a crazed fan rushed the stage at a Robbie Williams concert in Germany, pushing him off the stage in front of thousands of fans.
The pop singer fell more than five feet into a security pit at Stuttgart's Schleyerhalle stadium.
"Robbie's OK. He performed another six songs afterwards," Williams' spokeswoman said, adding that the attacker, believed to be a 20-year-old man, was "mentally unstable" and was being held by German authorities.
Williams, whose albums include The Ego Has Landed and Sing When You're Winning, is one of Britain's biggest superstars.
He has won a record nine Brit Awards and is due to perform at Britain's biggest and brashest music awards show Monday night. Also performing will be controversial U.S. rapper Eminem, Irish boy band Westlife, and R&B newcomer Craig David.
