March 23, 2007— -- Sold! For nearly half a million dollars: the diaries of Anna Nicole Smith.

According to the gossip Web site TMZ.com, two handwritten Anna Nicole Smith diaries, including one in which she reportedly wrote "I hate sex," were sold on eBay for more than $500,000 Thursday.

A 1992 diary, featuring 26 entries from June 3 to Aug. 16, sold for $282,500. In the diary Smith revealed that she cheated on her late octogenarian husband, Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II.

In the 1994 diary she wrote, "My husband is very sick and very weak," and that she waits "each hour to comfort him with medicines and prayers." The '94 diary went for $230,000.

Thomas Riccio of Universal Rarities, the California memorabilia house that auctioned the diaries, told TMZ that the buyer was a German businessman and that he is "a huge fan" of the former Playboy Playmate and wants to remain anonymous. The German outbid fans from all over the world, including the United States, England and the Bahamas.

The diaries are the latest in a string of Anna Nicole memorabilia to be sold on the Internet. Tourists in the Bahamas are gathering dirt from her grave site that they intend to auction on eBay.

Theories on what killed Smith nearly two months ago in Florida range from a drug overdose and pneumonia to suicide or murder.

Her friends and family hope they will have some answers Monday, when Dr. Joshua Perper, the medical examiner for Broward County, Fla., and Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said they'd hold a joint news conference to discuss the cause of death.
