June 17, 2014 -- Taylor Swift has a new drinking buddy: Ina Garten.
The celebrity chef invited the pop star to her New York home in the Hamptons to teach her to cook Swift's favorite recipes of hers: fish and a Pavlova, and to sip whiskey sours.

"I've never had a whiskey sour," Swift said, according to Food Network magazine. "Hey, [mom]. Come over here. We're day-drinking!"

Swift, 24, and Garten, 66, may not be obvious drinking buddies, but they do have a lot in common. More specifically, they're both huge fans of each other. They also have the same pet peeve: people who don't eat.
"I'll cook for these boys, and they'll be like, 'I'm on a diet,'" Swift complained. "I'm like, 'I can't hang out with you.'"
