Warriors Star Steph Curry Gives Peek Into His Home Life
Curry and his family are on the cover of the new Parents magazine.
— -- Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is known for dominating the NBA, but the basketball star is now revealing his best play is at home, as a dad.
Curry, 28, his wife, Ayesha, 27, and their two daughters, Riley and Ryan, are the cover stars of the June issue of Parents magazine.
Curry and Ayesha met as teenagers in North Carolina and are now juggling superstar fame with raising 3-year-old Riley and 10-month-old Ryan.
“It’s an event to get all four of us out of the house at once,” Ayesha, a chef, told the magazine. “When we get in the car and we’ve brought everything and everybody has socks on, it’s like a dream come true.”
The pair also revealed how they keep their marriage private while being in the limelight. For one, the pair have matching tattoos of two arrows pointing at each other.
“I do like a little sign and I kind of slap my tattoo and she does the same,” Curry said.
Curry revealed that when Riley, 3, sees him in his Golden State uniform, she will refer to him as Steph Curry instead of “Daddy.” It was Riley who gained instant fame when she stole the show at one of her dad’s news conferences during last year’s playoffs.
“People recognize her way faster than they do me or Ayesha,” Curry said. “And if we go somewhere and she’s not with us, that’s the first question they ask, ‘Where is Riley?’”
The June issue of Parents magazine is on newsstands now.
