But whose look was worth the most? Vogue Australia has the answer.

Cate Blanchett, who took home the Best Actress award for her role in "Blue Jasmine," is said to have worn the most expensive ensemble of the night.
According to the magazine, her Armani Privé gown was worth about $100,000 and her Chopard jewels were estimated to be worth $18 million. Her earrings alone had 62 opals with a combined 33 carats.

Charlize Theron, meanwhile, had the second most expensive outfit. Her Christian Dior haute couture dress was worth $90,000 and her Harry Winston jewels retail for $15.8 million.
Oscar nominee Sandra Bullock, the actress with the third most costly look, had comparatively inexpensive outfit by comparison. Her Alexander McQueen dress is estimated to cost $40,000, and her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry was worth $8.2 million.
