Zoe Saldana Fits Into 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Costume After Losing 70 Pregnancy Pounds
The actress reveals she can fit into her 2013 "Guardians of the Galaxy" costume.
— -- It's no secret that gaining 70 pounds during her pregnancy was hard on actress Zoe Saldana. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star has been documenting her struggle to shed the weight she gained while pregnant with twin boys, who were born last year.
Now Saldana, 37, has shared a recent weight loss milestone -- getting back into her "Guardians of the Galaxy" catsuit. Proudly sporting the black and blue cut-out costume in a photo she shared on Instagram, Saldana said she "had to share" that she was now able to fit into the costume she first wore in 2013.
"After twins I can't believe I was able to slip into this. @marvel and @jamesgunn don't be mad, I'm not showing anything that hasn't been seen before...besides, aren't we designing new stuff?....It pays off to work hard! I mean it mommies of the world, if I did it you can too," her caption read.
Saldana has been documenting her weight loss journey since she and husband Marco Perego welcomed twins Cy and Bowie in November 2014.
In April, the actress said having children has been a "challenging experience when it pertains to my body," revealing that she enlisted the help of a trainer to get back into shape.
By July, Saldana said she was "almost there," adding that her weight loss journey has "been difficult but so rewarding."
