Which models should you consider if you want to spend less than $1,000?
Nov. 12, 2010— -- Prices on flat screen TV's are expected to drop this holiday season, and there are even some bargains you can find before Black Friday.
Consumer Reports magazine's electronics editor Paul Reynolds shared some of its top picks for plasma and LCD TV's under $1,000 with "GMA."

32-Inch Sanyo DP32670
$408
This 32-inch 720p LCD TV/DVD combo unit, which has an integrated DVD player, isn't loaded with features, but it offers a lot -- especially very good overall picture quality -- for a very low price. It also has a wider-than-average viewing angle for an LCD TV, though its sound was only fair, lower than many other sets this size.
