Former "Bachelor" star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his wife Lauren Burnham Luyendyk shared the first photos of their newborn twins on Tuesday.
"Never been prouder of my wife than in this moment. She is the strongest woman I know and I’m lucky to be on this incredible journey with her," Arie wrote alongside a photo of Lauren holding their babies in the hospital.
"We are proud parents of a healthy boy and girl!" he added.
Lauren revealed the twins were born on June 11.
She also said her newborn daughter would have to remain in the hospital though she did not give a reason why.
"Today is bittersweet," she wrote. "We get to leave the hospital... but little sis has to stay behind for now. I've never felt heartbreak like this. Pls say prayers for our girl."
Arie, 39, and Lauren, 29, met on his season of "The Bachelor" and married in 2019. They are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Alessi.
Arie also shared a few photos of Alessi meeting her little brother for the first time.
"Already loves her brother so much ❤️" he captioned his post. "Emotional few days but Alessi meeting her little brother today was cuter than words could describe."
The couple first shared they were expecting twins in December 2020 and a month later revealed that they were having a boy and a girl.
"Alessi is getting a baby BROTHER & a baby SISTER we couldn't be more excited," Lauren said at the time.
