Irwin family talks season 2 of show, Bindi shares 1st look at white lace wedding dress
"I said yes to the dress," she wrote.
The Irwin family stopped by "GMA" Monday morning to tell fans what they could expect from the season 2 of "Crikey! It's the Irwins!"
"I get to work with my kids, live with my kids," Terri Irwin, who was married to Steve, told "GMA." "Carrying on Steve's mission is so important."
Terri Irwin and her children, Bindi and Robert, spoke about the humanitarian work they do and how wildlife conservation is more important than ever.
"It's what we love and we love wildlife so much," she said. "I hope Steve would be proud."
Robert Irwin said following the footsteps of his father, the famed "Crocodile Hunter," is so important to him.
"Dad had such a big impression on me," he said. "It's hard not to get excited and be passionate ... crocodiles are so much more that what you see, they are actually very special animals."
And of course, Bindi Irwin couldn't be on the show, sitting next to her fiance Chandler Powell, without talking about the big engagement earlier this summer.
"I took her for a walk through the gardens," Powell said of asking Bindi Irwin to marry him on her 21st birthday. But little did Bindi know her brother was hiding in the bushes taking pictures.
"I had no idea, I'm there crying, hugging Chandler," she said, adding that her brother burst through the bushes to hug her. She said it was one of the greatest, yet "most terrifying" moments of her life.
Ahead of the appearance on "GMA," Bindi Irwin shared a picture that every fan of the family had been waiting for -- a first look at her wedding dress.
"I said yes to the dress," she wrote Sunday.
Along with the caption, Bindi Irwin, 21, shared a small look at her white lace gown and a close-up at her gorgeous ring.
Her brother responded with a shocked emoji and her fiance Powell added, "I can't wait."
The doting fiance later added, "You’re going to be so beautiful."
It's been a joyous year for the beloved duo. Earlier this month, Bindi Irwin posted about wedding planning.
"Wedding planning is in full swing for us and it has been an amazing whirlwind. We’re looking forward to celebrating our wedding day next year at Australia Zoo Of course the day will be filled with family, friends and lots of gorgeous animals," she wrote.
Bindi Irwin announce she was engaged to Powell in July, writing, "July 24th 2019 On my birthday I said 'yes' and 'forever' to the love of my life. Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness."
