'Dancing With the Stars' pro Lindsay Arnold reveals her daughter's name and the significance of her birthdate

"Dancing With the Stars" alum Lindsay Arnold and husband Sam Cusick have officially added a new family member as the high school sweethearts welcomed a baby girl Monday.
"Sage Jill Cusick 💕💕 7 lbs 10 oz 19 inches tall," she wrote in a post announcing her daughter's name.
"The most beautiful surprise on this very special day," the 26-year-old pro dancer gushed in a separate post on Monday featuring a heartwarming photo of her and Cusick in the hospital with their little one. "Baby Girl and mama are healthy and well."
Arnold also opened up more on the details of her daughter's birth, revealing Sage arrived eight days early on Nov. 2.
"I woke up to my water breaking around 3:30 a.m. at home in bed and contractions started immediately after," Arnold revealed. "Sam and I grabbed everything and headed straight to hospital. Baby girl was still breech and I was progressing very fast so we prepped right away for C-section delivery."
The dance pro extended her sincerest gratitude to the doctors and nurses "who delivered our baby girl to us safe and sound." Now with Sage finally home, the "DWTS" star couldn't help but gush about her little girl and the significance of her birthday.
"She entered this world on the same day that we lost Sam's beautiful mother just one year ago and we couldn't help but see God's hand in this and know that Sage was handed down to us by her beautiful angel grandmother, Jennifer Jill Gillette Cusick," said Arnold. "We could not be more in love with her and feel blessed beyond words to be her parents."
Arnold's extended "DWTS" family flooded Arnold's posts with congratulatory comments.
Pro dancer Cheryl Burke was quick to assert herself as the baby's favorite aunt by declaring in the comments, "I’m so happy for you!! Can’t wait to meet her and make sure Auntie Cheryl is her favorite!! Love you."
Fellow dance pros joined in. "What a BEAUTY," wrote Peta Murgatroyd, while Alan Bersten gushed, "Absolutely stunning!!!!!! I love you guys...so happy." Another enthusiastic comment came from Brandon Armstrong, who just wrote "yes" 11 times.
This is Arnold and Cusick's first child. The couple, who wed in 2015, first revealed they were expecting a baby in May.
