Actress Diane Kruger gave birth a few months ago to her first child with her partner, "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus.

The 42-year-old is now determined to get her pre-baby body back and she isn't afraid to share her progress.

She recently shared a photo in the gym on her Instagram, commenting on her fitness journey and what it means to her.

"Am I showing off? F--- yeah. 'cause it’s been hard work to get my abs back," she wrote. "I didn’t think it was possible after having a baby. And certainly not at my age."

"I want to thank @hannahbower2 for sharing her journey and helping me get motivated," she said, referencing fitness Instagrammer, Hannah Bower, who often shares exercise videos and inspirational messages.

"I don’t have a trainer, but I’ve been committed to get my body back. For myself first," she continued. "The female body is AMAZING."

"And, yes, I'm in a bikini working out 'cause it's hot here and why not," she added in a hashtag on the post.

The actress remains extremely tight-lipped on everything concerning her newborn daughter.

She did, however, speak out against paparazzi taking unauthorized photographs of children after photos were released of her holding her baby in January.

She pleaded for their removal and requested fans to shop sharing them in a lengthy Instagram post. "Dear fans, dear non fans, dear paparazzi and anyone with a conscience. We were just tagged in these paparazzi pictures of me and our daughter," she wrote.

She explained that the photos were taken without her consent and "expose a vulnerable and innocent baby."

"While we understand that some people would like to see a picture of our daughter, we as parents, want nothing more than allow her to grow up in privacy and safety," she said. She placed a heart over her daughter's face in her post.

"Whoever has already posted them, please take them down," she went on. "Please put yourself in our shoes. We are just like any parent wanting the very best for our child."

Reedus shared the only glimpse of the couple's newborn the month before. "A lot to be thankful for this year," he wrote alongside the image of the child's hands.
