Health care workers caring for COVID patients dance to Pitbull's 'I Believe That We Will Win'
He is 'humbled' by medical professionals taking inspiration from his song.
A group of New Jersey health care professionals are showing they believe that we will win over COVID-19 in the best way possible: dancing.
Workers at Southern Ocean Medical Center used Pitbull’s new anthem, “I Believe That We Will Win,” to let loose in an epic dance video shared to social media by Mr. Worldwide himself.
The “Timber” performer, 39, told “Good Morning America” he is “humbled” by seeing medical professionals finding inspiration in these tough times thanks to his song.
“We are stronger than this virus, and we believe that we will win,” hospital workers told “GMA.”
“To our true heroes on the frontlines,” Pitbull wrote on social media along with the clip. “Nothing but love and respect to the first responders. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Dale!”
On March 28, the Miami-born artist shared news that he was releasing the single on April 10, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Feeding America and the Tony Robbins Foundation.
“Let’s show the world,” he wrote at the time, “how powerful it is when we come together to fight for one cause - that’s called life (I Believe That We Will Win).”
