'Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)' featured in 'Wilderness' teaser: Watch here
The hit song is from Swift's sixth studio album, "Reputation."
Taylor Swift's next highly anticipated re-recording may be "1989 (Taylor's Version)," but fans have already been treated to a clip from what is undoubtedly her follow-up project: a rerecording of her hit 2017 album "Reputation."
On Wednesday, an official teaser for the upcoming Prime Video U.K. thriller series "Wilderness" featured a version of Swift's song "Look What You Made Me Do" from her sixth studio album, "Reputation." The original version of the song was released Aug. 25, 2017.
Prime Video confirmed in a press release that the track is titled "Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)."
The song, which is about revenge and rough times, reflects the upcoming series' plot: "Wilderness" follows a woman named Liv (Jenna Coleman), who learns that her husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is having an affair.
"Liv becomes the actress starring in Will's bad dreams after she learns about his betrayal, and her heartbreak is swiftly followed by another emotion: fury," a synopsis for the show reads. "The couple embark on an American road trip Liv's fantasized about since she was little, from the Grand Canyon on through Yosemite, before ending up with a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas."
"For Will, it's a chance to make amends; for Liv, it's a very different prospect -- a landscape where accidents happen all the time," the synopsis continues. "The perfect place to get revenge. Look what he made her do…."
"Wilderness" is the latest show in which Swift's re-recordings have been featured. In June, ahead of the season 2 premiere of "The Summer I Turned Pretty," a sneak peek of Swift's revamped track "Back to December (Taylor's Version)," originally from the 2010 album "Speak Now," was featured in the show's trailer.
"This Love (Taylor's Version)," which was originally from her 2014 album "1989," was also featured in season 1 of "The Summer I Turned Pretty."
"Wilderness" will be available to stream on Prime Video starting Sept. 15.
