Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's son is a Taurus: Here's what that means
The little Earth sign will likely be very “practical” and “realistic.”
The stars have aligned, and the latest addition to the royal British family is here!
Prince Harry and Meghan's first child, a son, was born a Taurus, the second astrological sign of the zodiac. "Good Morning America" asked some expert astrologers to share what this means for the baby's role in the royal family and more.
Susan Miller, an astrologer who runs the site AstrologyZone, said she is glad the baby is a Taurus because they "will fit right in.”
“The royal family is remarkable … so representative in earth and water," she added, noting that Queen Elizabeth II is a Taurus.
Having the baby’s "moon in Gemini will make them a brilliant communicator and possibly good with languages," Miller said. As a born representative of Britain, this could prove a useful skill for the littlest royal.
She added that as an Earth sign, however, the little Taurus will likely be very "practical" and "realistic."
"This child will not squander the royal inheritance, he or she will take good care of it,” she added.
The baby’s Jupiter is in Sagittarius, Miller said, meaning the "this child is a world citizen” and can "relate to other cultures … like it’s oxygen."
“There is a tremendous curiosity about other cultures," she said of baby Sussex, who she believes will be very “open minded” and "tolerant."
Ophira Edut, an astrologer who runs the website Astrostyle with her twin sister, Tali Edut, told “GMA" that when it comes to parenting, "it is going to be an interesting test for Meghan, because she is a very resilient Leo."
"I think having a Taurus baby will test the patience," she said. "As a Leo mom, you kind of like to groom your cubs in your own image."
Meanwhile, a "Virgo dad is going to be more laid back," she said of Harry, saying he will likely "find the antics amusing" as the child grows up.
Taurus’s tend to be “sleeping, sweet, peaceful babies and then young hell-raisers through the toddler years."
When it comes to growing up in the public eye, Edut has no doubt a Taurus can handle the pressure, even though they may not like the tabloid attention.
“Taurus’s sometimes like formalities, they can handle some of it, but they’re don’t like people digging into their business," she said. "They have a strong sense of righteousness and fairness, so when the Taurus is misrepresented publicly they can get very upset."
Edut says she predicts baby Sussex will fit right in with their cousins as Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are both little Taurus’s.
“All the Taurus’s will probably wrestle a bit,” she said, but added that they will likely look up to Prince George, the eldest, who is a Cancer.
“I think George will sort of be amused but also take sort of a fatherly role and keep them in line," she said.
